Demirovic presented the project to Hadzibajric once again, and he said that in the implementation will be included the Cantonal Ministry of Communal Economy.

“The Ministry of Economy will also participate in the project, and they will arrange grassy areas. We will also do the re-cultivation of land, which includes renovation of earth surfaces with low vegetation, surface leveling, planting grass and arranging paths. A total of 29 facilities will be set on the whole area: fountain, canopies, coolers, and children’s playgrounds,” explained Demirovic.

According to him, the project is worth about 400,000 BAM. According to the project, the Forest Park of Friendship will include the lookout with magnificent view of Sarajevo and the promenade, the amphitheater that will be able to accommodate 80 visitors and the space for exercise that will be equipped with modern exercise equipment. Cafe-restaurant with a terrace is planned as well. The park will also include a picnic area, children’s playground with modern furniture, fountains, and coolers (pavilions).
