The Flag of Palestine in Response to the illumination of the Old Bridge with the Colors of the Flag of Israel

The Palestinian flag on the Old Bridge in Mostar was displayed last night in response to the lighting of the bridge in the colors of the Israeli flag, local media reported this morning.

The old bridge was lit on Thursday night with the colors of the Israeli flag in honor of Yom Hazikaron, a day that Israelis mark as the Day of Remembrance of Fallen Victims. Shortly afterwards, the flag of Palestine was hoisted on the Old Bridge.

Congratulations to Israel were also sent by Dragan Čović, with a photo of the Old Bridge that he posted on Twitter.
