The Government of Serbia awarded 200,000 Euros to Djokovic for Gold at the Olympics

Today, the Government of Serbia passed a decision on awarding a cash prize of 200,000 euros to Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic and his coach for winning gold at the Olympic Games in Paris.

The prize will be awarded in dinar equivalent, according to the announcement of the Government of Serbia.

Novak Djokovic won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Paris on Sunday, after defeating the second player in the world, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, in the final after two sets, 7:6, 7:6.

Djokovic thus won the second gold medal for Serbia at the Games in Paris, after shooters Zorana Arunović and Damir Mikec, who triumphed in the mixed competition.
