The House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament to hold a Session

According to the latest information, the end of next week is a possible, although still unconfirmed, date for the session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, which should be dedicated to the election of the president/vice presidents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the new post-election mandate.

In the past few days, the beginning of the week was announced as a potential earlier date, but it turned out the necessary procedural forms require more time.

For the mentioned functions of the FBiH executive power, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina certified the candidacies of Refik Lendo (Party of Democratic Action) from the Bosniak People, Lidija Bradara (Croat Democratic Union of BiH) from the Croats, and Igor Stojanović (Social Democratic Party of BiH), from the ranks of the Serb people.

According to the current rules, the three-member leadership of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the president and two vice-presidents, are representatives of each of the three constituent nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and indispensable factors in the nomination of mandate holders, i.e. the formation of the post-election convocation of the FBiH Government.

Their appointment is decided first by the House of Representatives and then by the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliaments.
