The Israeli Air Force is planning attacks on the “military infrastructure of Hezbollah” in southern Lebanon “in response to attempts to restore its activities in that area,” stated the army spokesman.
“Urgent warning to the residents of southern Lebanon – the army will, in the near future, attack the military infrastructure of the terrorist organization Hezbollah throughout southern Lebanon in order to counter their prohibited attempts to restore activities in the region,” wrote Avichay Adraee in a post on X.
Hezbollah and Israeli forces have exchanged almost daily fire along the Lebanese border since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023.
The broad Israeli bombing campaign in Lebanon has killed more than 3.000 people and forced almost a million civilians to be displaced. A truce with Hezbollah was signed in November 2024, but Israel continued with renewed bombing of southern Lebanon.
