The Israeli military reported that it had carried out airstrikes on parts of Lebanon ahead of a speech by Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah.
A statement issued by the military said the airstrikes were carried out on “targets” it claimed belonged to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The airstrikes carried out by the Israeli military came minutes before a speech by Hezbollah leader Nasrallah, which is underway.
Israeli media said the attacks were “on a large scale,” and Lebanese authorities have yet to issue a statement regarding the bombing.
Hezbollah was reported to have fired rockets at some regions in northern Israel.
