The Kosovo Police announced that today, during an inspection in the branch of what they said was the “National Bank” in Kosovska Mitrovica, they seized 152,290.00 dinars, 4,580 euros and 940 Swiss francs.
The police statement states that the safe was checked, which at the time of the previous check, which was organized on May 20, could not be opened because the responsible person who had the keys was not present.
“On May 29, 2024, police investigators managed to identify the manager of the point, who was contacted and brought the keys to the safe, in whose presence the safe was opened and the funds taken,” the statement states.
After the investigation, the station manager was questioned as a suspect in the presence of a defense attorney, while the inspection process, as it was said, passed without incident, Beta writes.
