“The Line has been crossed, this Conflict can turn into the third World War”

The war in Ukraine could turn into a global conflict after the involvement of North Korea.

The British Telegraph states in a new analysis that the Ukrainian-Russian conflict could soon turn into the third world war. The author David Axe came to this conclusion because of the 1,500 soldiers of the North Korean special forces, who set sail in early October on seven ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet.

It is an initial force of potentially 11,000 North Korean troops to bolster Russia in its war against Ukraine.

“That army is the most terrible reminder that this war is not only between Russia and Ukraine. The line has been crossed and thirdparty troops will soon be on the ground, Axe claimed to the Telegraph.

Other countries could make a similar decision because sending soldiers to Ukraine has already been proposed by British and French politicians. North Korea previously sold military equipment to Russia, which contributed to Russia’s successes during the 32-month war, but sending in people changes the situation.

Now it’s a global war, potentially a world war, Axe said.

North Korean special forces are unlikely to be on the front lines but will provide logistical support. However, North Korea’s greater role could also draw South Korea into the conflict.

At an emergency meeting of the National Security Council, senior South Korean officials described North Korea’s support for Russia as a “serious security threat” and vowed to increase its own involvement in the conflict.

Axe points out that it may not be long before their weapons appear on the front lines in Ukraine, but it may not be to the liking of NATO allies who are increasingly less understanding of Ukraine’s fight against Russia.
