Among the 21 girls who arrived from 14 countries on three continents, the expert jury declared Fabiana Guzman Mileta from Bolivia the winner of the selection of the most beautiful Croatian woman in national costume outside the Republic of Croatia.
The first runner-up title went to Barbara Piuković from Serbia, while the second runner-up was Teodora Tašić from Kosovo.
In addition to the election for the most beautiful Croatian woman in national costume, the title of Miss Photogenicity was also awarded, which went to Ana Vukić from Tolisa based on the results of voting through the social network Facebook where more than 100,000 people voted.
The show of traditional clothing and the selection of the most beautiful Croatian woman in national costume outside the Republic of Croatia was held at the Ganga and Hajdučka troupe square in Tomislavgrad, organized by the Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina “Stećak”, in cooperation with the Croatian Mother of Emigrants and Cultural Information center Tomislavgrad.
The review was held under the auspices of the President of the Croatian National Assembly Dragan Čović, the Central State Office for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, the Government of Herceg-Bosnia County, the City of Biograd na Moru and the Municipality of Tomislavgrad.
The recognition and appropriate award was presented to the winner by the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sanja Vlaisavljević, representative of the President of the Croatian National Assembly.
This was the eleventh edition of the Traditional Clothing Review and the selection of the most beautiful Croatian woman, an event whose goal is to connect Croats from all over the world for the purpose of promoting common traditional culture, getting to know and supporting Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in strengthening and preserving national and cultural identity.
