“We have only nine patients in treatment, none of whom are in the Intensive Care Unit for COVID-19 positive patients, so there are no patients using respirators. In the middle of last week, ie on March 23, we had the last deceased patient,” the director of the Cantonal Hospital Zenica (KBZ) Rasim Skomorac told Fena.
He notes that on Sunday and today, they did not have new admissions of infected patients, so now they can dedicate themselves more to the treatment of other diseases.
“The situation is good and we have returned, as far as can be said, to normal flows. There are no restrictions,” Skomorac notes.
Tesanj General Hospital is currently treating five Covid-positive patients, which, as director Omer Bedak points out, is not a big problem for them.
“The situation is stable, because there is no great influx of patients for several weeks. We had no casualties over the weekend, and the last death of a coronavirus-positive patient was recorded on Friday, March 25th. It was, indeed, a difficult patient – who was also positive and had abundant pneumonia,” Bedak underlines.
