” There will be no untouchables, everyone will be equal before the law”- said the new Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecution of B&H Goran Salihović.
Salihović was elected for this position on yesterday’s session by the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of B&H.
As they reported form the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, they wanted to appoint the right person, who fulfils all requirements for the appointment. One of the key requirements is to have at least eight years of working experience as a judge, prosecutor or lawyer. Salihović will officially take the position of the Chief Prosecutor on the 1 st February 2013. The new Chief Prosecutor said that his priorities will be the resolution of cases of war crime and corruption.
