The Number of blocked Accounts of Business Entities exceeded 108,000

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 108,106 accounts of business entities were blocked in November, which is 163 more than at the end of October, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

During November, 59,058 companies had at least one account blocked, which is 40 more than in October.

This monthly report on blocked accounts in the Bank’s Transaction Accounts Registry also lists legal entities from various fields – sports and health organizations, municipalities, businesses, cooperatives, agencies, associations, and entities engaged in service activities.

As of the end of October, 107,943 accounts of business entities were blocked, while 59,018 companies had at least one account blocked.

In the first report of the Central Bank published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
