In Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the nine months (January – September) of this year, the total number of motor vehicles registered for the first time increased by 22.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to the data of the BiH Agency for Statistics, in the period January-September this year, a total of 84,182 vehicles were registered for the first time, while this number was 68,630 in the same period last year. The most number of passenger cars was 63,250, which is 25 percent more than in the same period last year, and there were 5,484 newly registered trucks, which represents a growth of 29.4 percent.
In nine months of this year, a total of 14,026 new vehicles were registered for the first time, which is an increase of 8.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
Of these, there were 7,025 new passenger cars, which is an increase of 3.6 percent, and 1,254 trucks, which is 17.3 percent more than in the same period last year.
