It is Milos Popovac, born in 1996 in Ilidza, who worked as a police officer at the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH.
Namely, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, together with the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Ministry of Internal Affairs police and other partner agencies and institutions in the country and abroad, is conducting an extensive investigation into this suspect, who is charged with acting as part of an organized network for smuggling and illegal drug distribution, whereupon, among other things, he abused the authority given to him by providingpolice uniform and equipment for the purpose of committing criminal offenses.
He is suspected of acting as a member of an organized criminal group, which smuggled, hid, transported, and distributed the speed, marijuana, and cocaine drugs in BiH, Serbia, Croatia, and other European Union (EU) countries.
The measure of detention was proposed because an extensive investigation is underway, in relation to a larger number of suspects in this case, in order to ensure the smooth completion of the investigation in this case, Klix.ba writes.
