The protests in front of Office of the High Representative will continue today from nine o’clock, as said by the demonstrators who stayed overnight to sleep in front of the building.
They refused to leave the area in front of the OHR in Sarajevo last night, and the police allowed them to sleep there, reorganizing the traffic so that it could function without endangering those present.
Demonstrators last night called on citizens to come to the protests in larger numbers than today, which are planned to start at nine o’clock in the morning. They pointed out that it is not time to go to work but to demonstrations.
By the way, according to earlier announcements, certain consultations should be held in the OHR regarding changes to the BiH Election Law, but Christian Schmidt told Nermin Niksic in a phone conversation yesterday that no harmful changes will be imposed. However, citizens do not trust Schmidt and demand that he address them publicly today.
According to the estimate of the CS Ministry of Interior, there were as many as 7,000 people at yesterday’s protests, and the protests were organized by political parties within a few hours with the aim of preventing Christian Schmidt from making changes that would deepen the national division of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Klix.ba writes.
