The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina reacted to the interview of German Ambassador Alfred Grannas for Klix.ba, and they specifically referred to his comment on the election of a new high representative.
In the commentary, the Embassy quoted Grannas as saying that the High Representative can only be appointed by consensus in the Steering Committee of the Peace Implementation Council.
“Really? Then why didn’t the representative of Germany take such a position in 2021, when there was no consensus in the Board of Directors about the ‘appointment’ of Christian Schmidt? Probably because Berlin considers its position the only correct one, and Moscow’s position can be ignored. But in this case it is a clear manifestation of the painfully familiar Aryan racial superiority. The world remembers how it all ended in 1945. Mr. Ambassador claims that the benefit of the “Southern Interconnection” is that it will free Bosnia and Herzegovina from Russian gas. But without blinking an eye, it confirms that the construction of this pipeline is in contradiction with the norms of the European Union. Is there any logic in this statement of the nation that gave the world Hegel?
They also point out that it is clear to everyone what is happening to Germany without Russian gas.
“Meekly agreeing to the explosion of ‘North flow’, Berlin condemned itself to decline. Confirmation of this is what is happening with the once legendary German automobile industry. But even here Mr. Ambassador is not completely honest. Wanting to stop the supply of Russian gas to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, like many European countries, continues to buy Russian LNG, frantically replenishing empty stocks. As the German press claims, the tracks are being covered up – the purchases are not shown in the statistics because they are made through Belgium. What is said, hypocrisy in its full glory,” the Russian Embassy said.
