Željezničar and Sarajevo played to a 0:0 draw on Saturday evening at Grbavica stadium, in the 158th eternal derby within the 27th round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting took place in a dynamic and fighting game, but without many opportunities. Both teams played cautiously without taking too many risks. Željezničar shook Sarajevo’s net, but the goal was disallowed after the intervention of VAR.
In the first half, Sarajevo had a slight field initiative and more possession, but the defense of Željeznicar was up to the task. The guests from Koševo had two chances, through Carlos and Gojković after a mistake by Muftić, but the result did not change. On the other hand, the local football players were harmless for the defense of Sarajevo.
In the second half, Željezničar started a bit more offensively and managed to score a goal in the 49th minute through Pejić, which was canceled after a VAR review due to Odinaka’s foul on Mujkić at the beginning of the action.
