The Six arrested were taken to the Prosecutor’s Office

The six arrested in the “Omerta” operation were taken to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka, where they will be questioned by the acting prosecutor in connection with the circumstances of the crime committed, after which he will decide on a proposal for a detention measure, the prosecutor’s office announced.

The District Public Prosecutor’s Office states that today the Banjaluka Police Department submitted a report against 10 suspects from Banjaluka, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs, and one suspect also committed the criminal offense of illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosive substances.

The report was submitted against Anđel Miletić (26), who is not available to the criminal prosecution authorities, Aleksandar Miletić (29), Marinko Damjanović (27), Saša Kresojević (33), who is in custody by the decision of the Basic Court in Banja Luka, Boris Grujić ( 42), Nemanja Kerezović (31), Aleksandar Antonić (33), Nemanja Milinović (28), and Slobodan Stanković (27) and Vidan Prola (27), who are also not available to the criminal prosecution authorities.

The announcement states that the suspects were detained as part of a multi-month joint action by the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Banjaluka and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of the Republika Srpska.

“In the period from September 2020 to October 23 of this year, the suspects procured, held for sale, brokered the sale and sold the narcotic drugs cocaine and marijuana to users in the area of Banja Luka and Laktaši,” the announcement states.
