Dance ensemble for whose performances audience is always asking ticket more, presented themselves to the Sarajevo audience 10 years ago in the same hall with sold out tickets.
Dance Ensemble of the Russian Imperial Ballet was founded back in 1994 by Gediminas Taranda, soloist in Bolshoi Theatre, winner of numerous awards and recognitions for dancers and the choreography, and Nikolay Anokshin, soloist of the ensemble Igor Moiseev, at the initiative of the world-famous prima ballerina Maya Plisetskaya, the mother of the queen of Russian ballet.
The dance ensemble counts 40 artists from the best ballet schools of Russia. They are working under the supervision of renowned ballet teachers, and their art is based on the performances of classical ballet works and dance performances of modern authors.
The rich repertoire, virtuosic dance performances by members of dance ensemble and guest performances all around the world are classifying this ensemble within the top international ballet scene.
