The traditional ZONA party, widely known as the most anticipated actors’ gathering, lit up the luxurious Villa Magic on August 20 during the Sarajevo Film Festival.
What made this year’s event particularly special was that the actors themselves took on the role of hosts. Beloved TV personality Tarik Filipović, together with his close friend and renowned Croatian host and producer Joško Lokas, welcomed guests alongside Anila Gajević, director of the Talent Agency Zona. Gajević expressed her wish that everyone reunite next year, when “Zona” will celebrate its coming of age.
The night was filled with music and joy, led by the Mostar duo “Čoek i po,” singer Emir Sejfić, and one of the actors. Adding to the entertainment, the star and host of this year’s SFF, Lidija Kordić, and Lazar Dragojević also took the microphone, delighting the crowd.
Dragojević had extra reason to celebrate, marking his new role in the Swedish TV series A Life’s Worth, which premiered that same evening. His Zone colleagues Alena Džebo, Muhamed Hadžović, Ermin Sijamija, Elma Juković, Merje Šiljak, Pavla Marković, Mirela Lambić, Semir Krivić, Saša Krmpotić, and Faketa Salihbegović-Avdagić joined the celebration. Meanwhile, actor Slavko Sobin brought excitement straight from the premiere of Surviving Earth.
The glamorous gathering brought together a dazzling array of regional acting talent, including Anica Dobra, Dragan Mićanović, Feđa Štukan, Admir Šehović, Amila Terzimehić, Judita Franković-Brdar, Ivona Baković, Emir Fejzić, Sanjin Arnautović, Nadine Mićić, Aleksandar Dimitrijević, Darija Lorenci, Dina Mušanović, Mirvad Kurić, Jasna Ornela Bery, Maja Salkić, Josip Ledina, Lara Dragović, Helena Vuković, Petar Cvirn, Harun Ćehović, and Merima Lepić Redžepović, among many others.
The event was held with the institutional support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Canton of Sarajevo. Zona’s partners included Iqos, Hyundai, Green Home, Sarajevo Times, and Polyclinic “Svjetlost.”
