The Trial of Milos Lukic begins in the Court of BiH

Court of BiH scheduled to start the trial of Miloš Lukić, acting director of the Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska, accused of disobeying the decisions of the High Representative in BiH.

The case against Lukić and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik was originally formed, but it was separated due to Lukić’s health condition.

Although the defenses requested the rejoinder of the proceedings, this did not happen.

After being postponed several times, Dodik’s trial began on March 5, with the reading of the part of the indictment that refers to him.

Dodik and Lukić are accused that from July 1 to 9 of last year in Banja Luka – knowingly and knowing that the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt made a decision preventing the entry into force of the Law on Non-Enforcement of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH – they undertook official actions with with the aim of continuing the legislative procedure.
