The United States (U.S.) welcomed the decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NARS) on the appointment of the acting president of RS, which, as they stated, confirms stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
As the spokesperson of the U.S. Embassy in BiH stated, the decision will also direct the course of action towards a constructive partnership with the U.S., based on common interests, economic potential, and shared prosperity.
“The U.S. looks forward to continuing close cooperation with all sides and constituent peoples in BiH on practical and pragmatic solutions to improve security, stability, and shared prosperity. We look forward to a more constructive and pragmatic relationship with RS,” said the spokesperson of the U.S. Embassy in BiH.
The State Department yesterday welcomed the decision of the NARS regarding Trisic Babic.
Ana Trisic-Babic was appointed late last night as the acting president of RS at the session of the NARS.
