The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that it has deployed F-22 warplanes to the Middle East due to tensions between Iran and Israel.
In a statement published on the CENTCOM profile on social networks, it was stated that the F-22 warplanes of the US Air Force have arrived in the region, Anadolia reports.
It also said that the US Air Force F-22 Raptor aircraft had arrived in the CENTCOM area of responsibility as part of a change in the position of US forces in the region, “to reduce the possibility of regional escalation by Iran or its groups”.
No information was provided on how many F-22s have arrived in the region or to which country they have been deployed.
Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran, the capital of Iran, on July 31.
