The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, met today at the headquarters of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the United States of America to our country, Michael Murphy.
The Prime Minister informed Ambassador Murphy about the program priorities of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the focus of which will be economic reforms and the Euro-Atlantic path of our country. He especially apostrophized the fight against corruption, and the creation of assumptions for a significant step forward in that direction.
Ambassador Murphy congratulated Prime Minister Nikšić and the newly appointed FBiH Government, agreeing that with numerous reforms facing the new Federal Government, the fight against corruption is an absolute priority.
He expressed his belief that the Government led by Prime Minister Nikšić will show commitment to these reforms and that the USA is ready to support the Government on that path.
He added that he believes that this is a turning point for the Federation of BiH, and that the United States of America is permanently committed to the progress of BiH, as well as that they are at the disposal of the new Federal Government and Prime Minister Nikšić, the FBiH Government Office for Public Relations announced.
