From today, citizens of Republika Srpska can use tourist vouchers worth 100 KM in catering establishments for accommodation on the territory of that entity, announced the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of the RS.
With these vouchers, citizens are subsidized the costs of accommodation services (bed and breakfast).
As they stated, the right to a tourist voucher is exercised by every adult citizen of Republika Srpska, as well as a citizen residing in the Brčko District who holds the citizenship of Republika Srpska.
“The voucher can be used to pay for the accommodation service outside the user’s place of residence for at least two nights in a row for one user, or at least three nights in a row when the voucher is used by two users,” the statement explains.
Currently, 30 business entities are involved in the project, of which 27 catering establishments for accommodation and three tourist agencies, and the list will be regularly updated in accordance with the arrival of new applications throughout the duration of the project.
The application for a tourist voucher is made by contacting the caterer or travel agency participating in the project directly.

The tourist voucher project runs from September 7 to November 30.
