The world’s oldest conjoined twins, Lori and George Schappell, have died at the age of 62.

George was born Dori and announced in 2007 that he is a transgender man. He sang country music and performed throughout the United States, Germany and Japan. Lori used to go bowling.

They shared 30 percent of the body. Despite this, they led separate lives. Lori once commented on her love life.

“When I went on dates, George would bring books. I don’t see why being together with my brother would prevent me from having a love life and feeling like a woman,” she stated.

These conjoined twins have always said they don’t want to be separated.

“Would we be separated? Absolutely not. Why would we fix something that isn’t broken?”, George stated.

At 62 years and 202 days, they entered the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest conjoined twins in the world, Klix.ba writes.
