kemalo monteno sahranaThe funeral was late because there was so many people who wanted to say goodbye to beloved Monteno. All of them; family, friends, colleagues wanted to be near Kemo for one last time.

Rade Šerbedžija recited poems written by this true artist.

“This is for all friends between Vardar and Triglav. You were a hero that never gave up. Your music keeps our hearts and souls warm.” – said among other things Rade Šerbedžija who found all of this to be so emotional that he left in tears.

It is very hard to describe the feelings present among thousands of people who loved their Kemica. He gave them one of the greatest hits ever: a song called ‘Sarajevo, my love’. Besides family, many famous artists, singers, athletes and citizens said their last goodbye to him today.

May he rest in peace.
