The seventh competition for the best technological innovation in the RS began today with a prize fund of 35.000 KM with the organization of the RS Ministry of Science and Technology.
Minister Jasmin Komić said that the goal of the manifestation is to promote and encourage the business environment in the RS, and to help potential and current business people, or teams who are ready to turn their own ideas in market-competitive technological innovations.
He said that innovation has to be completely new or a substantially altered existing product, service, process or software, and for it to be based on research and development and that its originality be applicable in the market.
“Participants may be all researchers, academics, students, employees, businesspeople and teams, all those who are inventive, dedicated and independent in solving problems and who have innovations ready for offer on the market”, said Komić at a conference for journalists.
According to him, applications can be submitted until 22 April. Teams have to have a minimum of three members, and the finals will be held in December.
The Minister added that participants in the competition will receive free trainings in the area of innovative management, as well as marketing of a new product or service, and expressed his satisfaction with the previous competitions because the products through this event have affirmed a number of companies.
