One of the largest business systems in BiH, AS Holding, employs 4.000 workers, but ten times as many people work for them in all segments of the system within small and medium-sized suppliers.

After the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, major changes will happen that will certainly affect trade relations. This is likely to affect trade with BiH, which is not particularly large in volume, but the amounts are not negligible, especially for one industry branch.

As of July this year, goods worth around 3.7 million BAM were exported from BiH to Afghanistan. The largest part of that, in the amount of around 3.2 million BAM, referred to the export of weapons and ammunition. It is interesting that the export to Afghanistan last year was only 143.782 BAM, but in 2019 it amounted to 12.3 million BAM and in 2018 as much as 23.5 million BAM, which is not negligible. In both cases, almost the entire amount referred to weapons and ammunition, their parts, and supplies, Biznis Info writes.
