The heads of parliament of Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, or Visegrad Group (V4), met in Warsaw to discuss strengthening of cooperation in information policy and V4 promotion.
After the meeting, Kuchcinski informed “We see the future of the EU as a great, strong community, an international organization based on the cooperation of national states.”
According to him, the importance of national, country parliaments in cooperation with EU institutions was a major topic of the meeting.
“For many years the Visegrad Group has been a very good example … attracting the attention of other countries … so we see the future of Visegrad Group cooperation on many levels,” Kuchcinski said.
On March 2, after a meeting in Warsaw, prime ministers of the Visegrad Group released a joint statement pointing out seven major challenges ahead of the European Union and proposing some possible solutions.
