In Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2025, tourists made 202,480 visits, which is 0.1 percent less compared to May 2025 and 2.5 percent less compared to June 2024.
Tourists spent 408,776 overnight stays in Bosnia and Herzegovina in June, which is 2.3 percent more than in May 2025 and 2.7 percent less than in June 2024.
In the structure of total overnight stays, the share of domestic tourists was 29 percent, while 71 percent was the share of foreign tourists. The number of overnight stays by domestic tourists in June was lower by 7.2 percent compared to May 2025 and higher by 4.2 percent compared to June 2024. The number of overnight stays by foreign tourists in June was 6.8 percent higher than in May 2025 and 5.2 percent lower than in June 2024.
In June 2025, in the structure of overnight stays by foreign tourists, the most overnight stays were recorded by tourists from: Turkey with 11.7 percent, Serbia with 9.9 percent, Saudi Arabia with 8.9 percent, Croatia with 7.9 percent, Germany with 5.1 percent, China with 4.7 percent and Poland with 4.3 percent, which together make up 52.5 percent of the total number of overnight stays. Tourists from other countries recorded the remaining 47.5 percent of overnight stays, according to data from the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In June 2025, 21,806 rooms, apartments and camping sites were available to tourists in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is 1.1 percent more than in June 2024. Also, there were 49,450 available beds, which represents an increase of 5.5 percent compared to the same month in 2024.
