Trade Deficit of the Federation of BiH amounts to 867.6 Million BAM

In March this year, the Federation of BiH achieved exports worth 951,795,000 BAM, which is 3.2 percent less than in February 2025 or 6.2 percent more than in March 2024.

In March this year, imports were worth 1,819,450,000 BAM, which is 6.0 percent more than in February 2025, or 2.6 percent more than in March 2024.

In the period January – March 2025, exports grew by an average of 5.25 percent each month, while imports grew by an average of 2.48 percent.

The percentage of import coverage by export is 52.3 percent, which is 4.9 percent less than in February 2025 when the coverage was 57.2 percent.

The trade deficit of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for March 2025 was 867,656,000 BAM, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

In March, most of the exports from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina were to Croatia, Germany and Austria, and most of the imports were from Germany, Italy and China.
