The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo refused to order a one-month detention for tram driver Adnan Kasapović, who was driving this vehicle at the time of the fatal accident when the young man Erdoan Morankić was killed.

He was released a few minutes ago, and many colleagues welcomed him with applause in front of the Cantonal Court.

At yesterday’s hearing, the KS Prosecutor’s Office requested a one-month detention, saying that the current course of the investigation indicates that the accident was caused by the “human factor”.

They stated that the preliminary results of the expert showed that everything was fine with the tram, as well as with the electricity.

On the other hand, the driver said that he was not to blame and that it was a technical malfunction of the tram, Klix.ba writes.
