US President Donald Trump (Trump) pointed out that a lot was achieved during his visit to Davos this week, including the agreed basis for the Greenland agreement and the establishment of the Peace Committee.
“How great was the trip to Davos. So much was achieved, including the framework agreement with NATO on Greenland. Likewise, the Peace Committee was established. Let’s make America great again!” Trump wrote on the “Social Truth” network.
Trump has repeatedly said that the US should control Greenland, an autonomous region of Denmark. He referred to the strategic importance of Greenland for US national security.
The authorities of Denmark and Greenland have warned Washington not to try to occupy the island, noting that they expect their territorial integrity to be respected.
