Trump claims that Israel will certainly not attack Iran

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Israel will not attack Iran and that all planes will turn around and return home, as Iranian media reported explosions in Tehran and the north of the country.

“All planes will turn around and return home, while giving a friendly ‘wing wave’ to Iran. No one will be hurt, the ceasefire is in effect!” Trump said in a post on the Trut platform.

President Donald Trump called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and asked him not to attack Iran, Axos journalist reported in a post on X on Tuesday, citing an Israeli official.

Netanyahu told Trump that he could not call off the attack and that it was necessary because Iran had violated the ceasefire, the Axios journalist said. The attack would be significantly reduced and would not hit a large number of targets, but only one, according to the report.

Two explosions were heard in the Iranian capital on Tuesday, Iranian media outlets Mizan and Sharq reported, after US President Donald Trump urged Israel not to bomb Iran following a ceasefire reached early Tuesday.

Israeli military radio reported that the Israeli military had attacked a radar site near Tehran.

Iranian media also reported that Israel had attacked the northern city of Babolsar.

Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that the latest wave of Iranian missiles against Israel was launched minutes before the ceasefire was to take effect in response to deadly Israeli attacks, according to a statement by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps on Tuesday.

The statement said 14 missiles were fired at military sites across Israel, adding that the Iranian armed forces would continue to monitor “enemy movements with open and vigilant eyes,” Tasnim reported.
