United States President Donald Trump continued to hold the door open for the United States to join Israel in its attacks on Iran, saying his patience with Tehran has already run out.

“I might do it. I might not. I mean, nobody knows what I’m going to do. I can tell you this, Iran has a lot of problems and they want to negotiate,” Trump told reporters at the White House during a flag-raising ceremony.

“Next week is going to be a very big one, maybe less than a week, maybe less. But is there anyone here who said it would be okay to have a hostile, very, you know, really, hostile country with nuclear weapons,” Trump added.

“That’s just not a threat that you can have,” he added.

Asked if he believed it was too late to resume negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program, Trump said it was not too late for anything.
