Turnover Of Betting Shops And Casinos This Year Exceeded 1.8 Billion BAM

According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), the turnover of betting shops and slot clubs/casinos in the ten months of this year exceeded 1.8 billion BAM.

According to data from the Tax Administration of the FBiH, the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC) leads the list when it comes to the turnover of betting shops, with a turnover greater than 256.7 million BAM. The lowest turnover was realized in the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton (BPC).

Turnover of sports betting shops by cantons (January – October 2025): Una-Sana Canton (USC) – 113.918.118.85 BAM; Posavina Canton (PC) – 19.376.716.70 BAM; Tuzla Canton (TC) – 226.425.898.41 BAM; Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC) – 140.867.621.76 BAM; BPC – 11.509.458.64 BAM; Central Bosnia Canton (CBC) – 165.388.187.95 BAM; HNC – 256.751.793.39 BAM; West Herzegovina Canton (WHC) – 78.296.942.38 BAM; Canton Sarajevo (CS) – 209.742.921.93 BAM; Canton 10 – 50.520.971.22 BAM.

Total: 1.272.798.631.23 BAM

When it comes to slot clubs/casinos, the highest turnover in slot clubs and casinos was realized in the CS – 214.9 million BAM, and the lowest in the CBC – 11.8 million BAM. It is interesting that in the BPC and Canton 10, turnover via slot clubs/casinos was not realized at all.

Turnover of slot clubs/casinos by cantons (January – October 2025): USC – 88.831.777.29 BAM; TC – 110.432.557.52 BAM; ZDC – 95.946.973.29 BAM; BPC – 0.00; CBC – 11.803.882.00 BAM; HNC – 16.025.961.60 BAM; WHC – 23.316.142.75 BAM; CS – 214.963.104.08 BAM; Canton 10 – 0.00.

Total: 561.320.398.53 BAM.

When betting shops are in question, data from 2025 indicate a trend of decreasing turnover, while with slot clubs and casinos, there is a trend of turnover growth in 2025 in relation to the previous year, 2024, stated the Tax Administration of the FBiH.

They also state that in the period from January 1st, 2025, to October 31st. In 2025, they performed 277 quick ad hoc inspections. Due to established irregularities in the performed inspections, 134 misdemeanor warrants were issued with imposed fines in the total amount of 271.050 BAM.
