Tuzla: Traditional Protest of Workers on Wednesdays

Protest of workers on Wednesdays in front of the Court and Prosecutor’s Office have become traditional gatherings. Around 200 workers gathered today and blocked the traffic and later on headed towards the building of the Tuzla Canton Assembly.

Some workers headed towards Hotel “Tuzla” because some workers of this hotel received the Municipal Court ruling on seizure of private property due to the non-repayment of loans that were once received to redeem the shares of the company. The new owner of this Hotel was supposed to take over these loans, but it did not happen.

The protestors revolution began when members of the informal FB group joined these workers on 5 February and when they together organized protests in front of the building of the Tuzla Canton government.
