Persons whose initials are M.R. from Banjaluka and citizen of Serbia E.Š. were arrested in Banja Luka for counterfeiting money, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MUP/ of the Republika Srpska.
During the search, carried out by order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 10,000 euros and 10,000 US dollars suspected of being counterfeit were temporarily seized, as well as other objects and traces that can be used as evidence in criminal proceedings.
The persons were arrested yesterday by officers of the Directorate for Serious and Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS in the area of Banja Luka.
After the criminal investigation, the persons will be handed over to the acting prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office for further jurisdiction.
