U.S. dollar rises against other major currencies

dollarNEW YORK, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) — The U.S. dollar climbed against other major currencies on Tuesday amid Federal Reserve officials’ hawkish remarks on interest rate hikes.
In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.1201 dollars from 1.1217 dollars, while the dollar bought 102.82 Japanese yen, higher than 101.57 yen in the previous session.
