The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdic today at the sidelines of the Summit of the Adriatic Charter met with the vice president of the United States of America Mike Pence, informing him of the current political situation in BiH and the progress our country has thus far made on the euroatlantic path.

Chairman Zvizdic said that the euroatlantic integrations remain the main foreign policy aim and priority of BiH and highlighted the major advances that BiH has been making on the European path in the last year and the major inroads towards fulfilling the conditions for activating MAP.

He emphasized the importance of continuing to keep the political focus of the international community on BiH and the continued support for the continuation of the reform process and euroatlantic integrations. He added that the citizens of BiH wish for a better and higher quality life, but that that objective can be realized only by continuing reforms and sped up euroatlantic integrations. The next important step for BiH, as well as for the stability of the region, is activation of MAP for our country.

U.S. vice president Mike Pence said that the U.S. views BiH as a key to stability, peace and security of the Western Balkans region. He repeated the full and complete support of the U.S. for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and euroatlantic integrations of BiH.

Chairman Zvizdic thanks the United States of America and the American people for their help and continued support for BiH.
