The Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized an exhibition of photographs of American Ambassador Michael Murphy, which he took during his stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The exhibition “Photographic Memories” was officially opened on Thursday evening in the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the opening of the exhibition, Ambassador Murphy expressed his satisfaction that he has the opportunity to show Bosnia and Herzegovina through this exhibition.
“As many know, I am really passionate about photography and my time, I spent my mandate in BiH, whenever I could, traveling around Bosnia and Herzegovina and photographing its natural beauty and historical locations. As far as I’m concerned, tonight is not about my photography skills, it’s about showing the beauty of your beautiful country,” said Ambassador Murphy.
He added that there are so many beautiful places in this country where you can see its natural beauty and so many significant, important historical sites.
“This country has so much to offer to all of you, but not only to all of you, but also to the whole world,” the American ambassador pointed out.
According to him, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a wonderful country full of wonderful people who deserve a truly high-quality, beautiful future.
“What I want to say is that I truly love Bosnia and Herzegovina. I hope you will see that through this exhibition. I also hope that I managed to portray your country in the right way. The exhibition opens tonight and will be open next week at the BiH Historical Museum. I hope that people will come and visit the exhibition, so that in some way we can commemorate the beauty of this country,” Ambassador Murphy concluded, Fena writes.
