“We appreciate those parties that have decided to get involved in this difficult but necessary conversation about the reforms needed for the country to move forward. A compromise will be what will ensure BiH’s Euro-Atlantic future,” the embassy said.
They emphasize that “discrimination must disappear in order for Bosnia and Herzegovina to move forward”, and that all participants are responsible for full implementation and that any solution must meet EU legal standards.
“The expertise of the Venice Commission in this process is invaluable,” the US Embassy said in a statement.
