Vidovic: The Court of BiH postponed the Payment of 30 Million BAM to the Republika Srpska

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has once again postponed the execution of the final judgment according to which the Indirect Taxation Administration of BiH should pay the Republika Srpska 30 million BAM with interest, said the Minister of Finance of the Srpska Zora Vidović and added that they have already appealed against this decision.

“We have already appealed the latest court decision, which we managed to get through the BiH Attorney’s Office. We will see what will happen and whether this time there will be any effect from the filed appeal,” said Vidović and stated that the Court of BiH postponed the execution of the verdict until June 18, 2024.

According to her, any comment on the practice of prolonging the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s own judgments is superfluous.

“Such things certainly don’t happen anywhere in the world. The court postpones its executive verdict for the umpteenth time. We really don’t know whom to complain to anymore. We have already written to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also to the addresses of other institutions. This is intolerable. I don’t know how we can pay for what the Court itself ruled,” said Vidović for “Glas Srpska”.

She stated that the 30 million BAM with interest, which Republika Srpska should receive, has already lost a lot of value, stating that this money is now 30 percent less valuable than last year or the year before.
