‘Posljednja ljubav Hasana Kaimije’ is an artistic drama based on a real person, a poet who was born in Sarajevo in the first half of the 17th century and died in Zvornik in 1680. Kaimija’s style is simple, understandable, the so-called ‘common man’. The drama speaks about country, homeland, love, conflict, hatred, and this is embodied in Hasan Kaimija. Through him, a story about a curse is told, of a love that takes place only in this part of the world. Hasan Kaimija is a Bosnian-Herzegovnian who felt on his sin what the fight for freedom, right to free expression, choice and love mean.
