A total of 49 volunteers of the BIMA Medical Association provided medical services free of charge to the residents of Bosanska Kostajnica this time.
Residents were provided with free internal, dental, pediatric, radiological, physiological, neurological, ophthalmic, pulmonary, gynecological and infectological examinations with the use of equipment.
For many returnees, this is the only option to carry out the necessary examinations, since they live in remote places and villages. Doctors also prescribed and donated medicines needed for treatment.
BIMA has been operating in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 21 years. They visited Bosnian Kostajnica as part of Project 100, where they plan to visit 100 places in our country and provide health care to citizens, with an emphasis on the returnees who welcome them with joy.
In Bosanska Kostajnica they performed 153 examinations and provided 227 services. Veterinarians were also with them, who provided 21 services. They did all this in a makeshift “hospital” that they placed in the premises of the Islamic Community Majlis, Klix.ba news portal reports.
