The US cannot confirm reports that Iran has supplied Russia with ballistic missiles, said White House National Security Spokesman John Kirby.
A senior Iranian official previously denied the reports, describing them as “psychological warfare,” and an EU spokesman described the information as “credible.”
Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry said it summoned a senior Iranian diplomat to a meeting to warn him of “devastating and irreparable consequences” for bilateral relations if reports that Tehran supplied Russia with ballistic missiles are true.
