We looked forward to her Performances, Successes and Medals all Year

The best in our country – are the people. Among them Lana Pudar. The brightest star in BiH in 2023. We looked forward to her performances, successes and medals throughout the year, and she crowned everything with the title of the best sportswoman of our country. And we will be happy, we have no doubt, about these too.

The pride and ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She excelled on the world, European and domestic fields. At the tender age of 18, Lana Pudar is the two-time best athlete in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2023, the young woman from Mostar won nine world and European medals – five gold, two silver and two bronze. This year, she participated in 12 major finals and set six records – two European junior records, three junior championship records and one world championship record.

“I’m really very proud and I’m really glad to see that people recognize all my work, effort and my results and how important it is for BiH”.

The best BiH the swimmer achieved two Olympic standards for performance at the Olympic Games in Paris this year, where we can justifiably expect the first Olympic medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina. A successful but also difficult year is behind the fantastic Lana Pudar.

“It was very hard, there were many obligations, many trips, but we got the most out of everything and I hope that the next year will be even better. We are entering the Olympic year, so now there will be even more work, preparation and competition”.

The Association of Sports Journalists in Bosnia and Herzegovina declared Lana Pudar the best athlete in 2023.

“Sports journalists are really an important part in the development of my swimming career and they certainly contributed a lot to the promotion of my results among people in our country, but also much wider. I wish you to continue to do quality work in the future. To continue to follow true sports values and to be a great support to me and my sports colleagues in our efforts to be as good and successful as possible”.

Another great competitive season in which the young Mostar confirmed her excellence and status as one of the best and most promising young swimmers in the dolphin discipline. Thanks to Lana Pudar, the singing of the BiH national anthem has become common at all important swimming competitions in Europe and the rest of the world. BH will be happy. nation again this year with the successes of our siren. Halfway through the year, Lana Pudar will go for her first Olympic medal.
