The average monthly paid net salary of employees in Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2023 was 1,304 BAM, which is a nominal increase of 1.5 percent, and a real increase of 1.6 percent compared to October 2023.
On an annual level, the average net salary in November 2023 compared to November 2022 was nominally higher by 11 percent, while the real index was higher by 9.1 percent, the BiH Statistics Agency announced.
The highest average net salaries were for employees in information and communication activities in the amount of 1,910 BAM, followed by financial and insurance activities in the amount of 1,824 BAM and in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning in the amount of 1,796 BAM.
The lowest average net earnings were in the activities of providing accommodation and preparing and serving food in the amount of 859 BAM, and in construction of 973 BAM.
According to the data of the BiH Agency for Statistics, the average monthly gross salary of employees in November 2023 was 2,012 BAM, which is a nominal increase of 1.6 percent, and a real increase of 1.7 percent compared to October 2023.
The average gross salary in November 2023 compared to the same month in 2022 is nominally higher by 11.3 percent, and in real terms by 9.5 percent.
