In Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 2023 to 2026, economic growth can be expected at an average rate of about three percent on an annual basis, the Directorate for Economic Planning of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated in the Information on Perspectives.
The expected economic growth this year is two percent, in the next year 2.7 percent, in 2025 three percent, and in 2026 3.3 percent.
The main pillar of this predicted economic growth will be domestic demand through an increase in private consumption and, to a lesser extent, investments, according to the Directorate.
On the other hand, somewhat slower growth rates of imports and exports are expected in that period, so the contribution of the external sector, i.e. net exports, is mostly neutral with a slight improvement tendency.
